Country House
It's easy to imagine fine country estate living as you enter the gracious drive leading to the Methodist Country House. Nestled in the heart of the Brandywine Valley, Country House is graced with acres of manicured grounds, rolling hills and habitat-rich woodlands. The classic architecture and elegant design complement the beautiful grounds once belonging to the duPont family's Winterthur estate. Country House is one of Delaware's timeless treasures.

Country House consistently evolves to meet the needs of today's retirees while building upon the traditions of caring and excellence established by PUMH over 40 years ago. Within minutes of downtown Wilmington, with its fine dining, cultural venues, and access to Amtrak's Northeast Corridor line, the Country House combines the grace of a country setting with the convenience of a metropolitan location.

Heron Point of Chestertown
A 66-acre tidewater treasure, Heron Point hugs the unspoiled shoreline of the Chester River in Chestertown on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Chestertown, one of the oldest-and loveliest-small towns in the nation has been ranked by Modern Maturity magazine in the top five "most attractive small towns for retirement". Home to Washington College, and the cultural magnet of the upper Eastern Shore, Chestertown's offerings are many.

You'll see wildlife in its natural habitat surrounding Heron Point. Boating opportunities abound; Heron Point residents can sail the Chester River westward to the bay, or take advantage of the canoe and kayak launch and paddle into the sunset.

Travel is convenient. Close to the major metropolitan areas of Baltimore, Washington, and Philadelphia by car, you can venture even farther afield by accessing nearby airports.

At Heron Point, the best of the present and the future mingles beautifully with the past.
