Annual Giving
The Cornerstone Fund is the Foundation's annual campaign, instituted to finance programs and operations that help PUMH maintain its leadership position with exceptional service, innovative practices, and compassionate care for older adults. This fund offers donors the opportunity to make direct gifts to support important areas of need.

There is also an annual Mother's Day Appeal for benevolence.

Specific program areas for the Cornerstone Fund include:

Greatest Need. This fund supports the programs prioritized by PUMH communities as being most critical.

Benevolence. This program addresses the needs of current and future residents who for unseen reasons may be unable to meet their financial obligations. Funds are earmarked for monthly fees, critical medical expenses and quality of life issues.

Capital Programs. Resident involvement is a critical component of every capital campaign, and they are involved at every level. Campaign funds are earmarked for facility expansion, upgrades, maintenance, or improvements to assure the health and safety of residents.

Resident Programs and Community Outreach. This fund supports programs and activities that focus on enabling residents and the greater community to enjoy physical, spiritual and emotional wellness that enhances quality of life.

Staff Enrichment. Support includes funding for staff development and education, endowment of innovative positions and those that support improved programming.
